Rebecca Reay
Rebecca is a mental health occupational therapist with over 30 years experience working with adults and families in both public and private health sectors. Rebecca enjoys working with all people across the lifespan, with a specialised interest in supporting parents, including new parents in the perinatal period, and those with young children. Rebecca provides mental health assessment and treatment for a broad range of difficulties, including; anxiety, emotional, mood, behavioural, parenting and trauma/stress related disorders. She is experienced in delivering ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IPT (Interpersonal Psychotherapy) CBT (cognitive-behavioural therapy), and attachment based interventions. She is an IPT supervisor and registered practitioner in Circle of Security Parenting.
Rebecca completed a PhD in Medical Science at the ANU in 2010 and has published on a range of mental health issues that occur across the lifespan. She also lectures at the Australian National University and University of Canberra.
