Jo Vickers

Jo is a psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. Since 2003 she has worked in clinical settings for government and non-government organisations.

How Jo can help:

Jo is experienced in working with children, adolescents and adults to help them make sense of their symptoms and work together to relieve distress and build a life of meaning. She has a special interest in working with children and parents around attachment relationships. Jo has experience working with young people with Autism or ADHD. In addition, Jo has a focus on working with clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. All clients can expect a warm and non-judgemental approach to therapy.  

Types of Therapy used:

Jo's work is informed by a number of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is trained in Circle of Security, Tuning into Kids and Cool Kids.
